He was implicated in the investigation of a political suicide, that of Pinelli, which was revealed to be a homicide. Calabresi was assassinated the morning of 5/17/1972, c. 9:15 AM by unknown killers when he left home, Rome. He was shot twice by a young man in a Fiat with another person driving. In January 2000, the courts of Venice confirmed the guilt of Sofri, Bompressi and Pietro Stefani for his murder. In July 1988, Leonardo Marino, a member of the group, turned himself over to the police and declared that he had participated in the homicide. He was the driver of the car from which Ovidio Bompressi shot Calabresi on the orders of Sofri and Stefani, executives of the party. Link to Wikipedia biography

Calabresi Luigi birth chart analysis for Ascendant

In Vedic astrology, the placement of the natal lagna (ascendant) in Leo, particularly in the Magha nakshatra, brings forth a powerful and regal influence. Leo, a fire sign ruled by the Sun, is known for its leadership qualities, confidence, and charisma. The Magha nakshatra, symbolized by a throne, is associated with authority, heritage, and ancestral pride. Individuals with this placement often possess a strong sense of dignity, ambition, and a desire to make a mark in the world. They may have a deep connection to their lineage and show respect towards traditions and family values. When the lagna lord, the Sun, is placed in the 3rd house in Libra, it introduces another layer of complexity. The 3rd house is related to communication, courage, and siblings. Libra, an air sign ruled by Venus, emphasizes balance, harmony, and relationships. The Sun in Libra, however, is considered debilitated, which can somewhat dim its natural brilliance and strength. This placement may temper the commanding presence of a Leo ascendant, making the individual more diplomatic and cooperative. They might excel in areas requiring negotiation and collaboration, using charm and tact to achieve their goals. The presence of the Sun in the Visakha nakshatra, which spans parts of Libra and Scorpio, adds further nuance. Visakha is ruled by Jupiter and is symbolized by a triumphal arch, denoting the energy of achievement and goal orientation. Individuals with this nakshatra placement often possess a strong drive for success and a focused, determined nature. Despite the Sun's debilitation in Libra, Visakha's influence can provide a sense of direction and perseverance, helping the individual overcome challenges. In summary, a Leo ascendant in Magha nakshatra with the Sun in the 3rd house in Libra and Visakha nakshatra suggests a dynamic personality. Such individuals likely possess leadership qualities with a touch of diplomacy, a strong sense of tradition, and a goal-oriented approach to life. Despite potential challenges due to the Sun's debilitation, their charisma, determination, and ability to harmonize differing perspectives can lead to significant accomplishments.
