American lottery winner, who, on 2/23/1993, won a $26.7 million jackpot in Dennis Port, MA. He collected the first payment the following day, riding in a limo and still in a state of shock. He and his wife, Donna, had been living on the wages of her job as a cashier as he was an out-of-work apprentice plumber.
