Isham MarkJoseph

American filmmaker known as the writer, producer and director of the 1998 short film The Cowboy and The Ballerina which won numerous international film festival awards and was acquired by the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City for its permanent film and video collection. He was also a competitive bodybuilder, who won the Mr. Arizona title in 1990. He ran his own business working as a private bodybuilding coach and personal fitness trainer. Isham had bipolar disorder. He died on his 50th birthday, 21 December 2014, at 5 PM, by self-inflicted gunshot wound at the Papago State Park Amphitheatre in Phoenix, Arizona where one of his favourite scenes in The Cowboy and The Ballerina was filmed.
