Kitty

American hip-hop recording artist formerly known as ♡kitty♡ and Kitty Pryde. While serving as a member of Jokers in Trousers, a comedy hip-hop group, she received recognition from fellow American rapper Riff Raff. The duo collaborated on a single, "Orions Belt," in June 2012. Kitty was a clerk at Claires in Daytona Beach. She started college when she was 16, and signed up to attend classes at the University of Central Florida. Her song "Okay Cupid" became a viral hit and was ranked number 17 on Rolling Stones list of the top 50 songs of 2012. In 2015, she was chosen to perform as a headliner at Pacific Northwest music festival VanFest Five. On 25 May 2016, Kitty married musician Sam Ray. In June 2016, the couple formed an EDM project named 56colors. After releasing several extended plays between 2011 and 2014, Kitty released her debut full-length album, Miami Garden Club, on 25 August 2017.
