MacDonald Brendan

American accidental death; a freshman at Norwich University, a military college in Northfield, VT, MacDonald died at about 2 AM on April 26, 2003 from a fall from his fourth story dormitory window. MacDonald was a cadet in the school’s Army ROTC program He had been at a party celebrating a Norwich University lacrosse team victory where the students, despite a school rule forbidding alcohol in dormitories, had apparently been drinking heavily. MacDonald returned to his dorm room at about 12:30 AM but, sick to his stomach, began vomiting out the window, and, according to his roommate, "somehow, he passed out. We didn’t see him fall. We all heard the noise, him falling out and hitting the ground." A resident of Norwell, MA, MacDonald graduated from Norwell High in 2002 where he played hockey and lacrosse and was selected for regional and national teams.
