MenendezDiaz Conrado

Mexican lawyer, journalist, professor and writer. In 1935 he entered the Diario del Sureste, working as a proofreader, editor, cablista, reporter, secretary and rising to the rank of chief editor. He was director of the publication Orbe between 1942 and 1958 and its successor The Journal of the University of Yucatan between 1959 and 1985. After leaving the management continued to collaborate with essays and bibliographic notes. He also collaborated in the newspaper Novedades de Yucatán. He was the private secretary of Governor Victor Mena Palomo, administrator of the Official Journal of the State Government and Juvenile Court judge. He received the Yucatan Medal in 1983 and Ignacio Manuel Altamirano medal for 52 years of uninterrupted magisterial activity. He died 17 June 1987 Link to Wikipedia biography (Spanish) Read less
