Oz Galia

Israeli childrens and youth writer, screenwriter and documentary film director, who won the Prime Ministers Award for Hebrew writers for 2012. She is the daughter of the writer Amos Oz. In February 2021 she published her book "Something Disguised as Love", in which she claims that her father, Amos Oz, beat and abused her as a child, and that the mental abuse and harassment continued until his death. On the other hand, her mother, sister and brother claimed that her story is different from the way they remembered him. The book sparked a public debate on the issue of parental abuse of children.
