Scoma Marie

American member of noted family, the youngest of the six siblings of outlaw Clyde Barrow who, together with Bonnie Parker, formed the duo Bonnie and Clyde known today for their dozen-or-so bank robberies. Marie Barrows first marriage was to Joe Bill Francis in May 1934. She later married Luke Scoma (born at 5pm on 24 June 1918 in Dallas, Texas). She died on 3 February 1999 in Dallas, Texas, aged 80. Luke Scoma died on 24 February 1999 in Dallas, Texas, also aged 80. Marie Barrow Scoma was a stauch defender of her brother Clyde. In collaboration with Phillip Steele she wrote the book The Family Story of Bonnie and Clyde, published posthumously by Pelican on 22 February 2000. Read less
