Sujkowski Ziemowid

Polish physicist, professor, director of the Institute for Nuclear Studies in Świerk in the years 1996 - 2006. He was awarded the Officers Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta in 2005. Professor Ziemowid Sujkowski played an important role in the Polish academic life.He published 150 papers in leading journals. He promoted 21 doctors in the country and abroad. He sat on the boards of many Polish research institutes and universities. He was a member of the Council of Nuclear Physics, the European Physical Society. In Poland, for many years he was chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Conference Mazury Physics. Always exhibited excellent physical form, which many much younger than he could have envied.
