American astrologer. From the time she began her study in 1936, she established five schools, countless classes, correspondence courses, and by 1995, published 59 books. She was an ordained minister of the Church of Light, Founder and first President of PAI 1968 and of AFA in the 80s, always at the forefront of her field as a noted author, leader and lecturer. She married Edward Doane in 1944; widowed 1971: married John Lawson Ahern 1972. By 1998, Doane had over a million of her printed works in circulation under 71 titles in five languages and has published more than 2,500 articles in 91 magazines. Christopher Gibson, who was for many years Doris’ Power of Attorney and her executor, clarified that the death certificate states “06/05/2005 1:10 AM in Sacramento, CA”. She was 92. Read less
