Ladd Midge

American noted spouse and parent, the wife of Alan Ladd and mother of their son Alan Ladd Jr. She met Ladd in 1933 while in school and secretly married in October 1936. Lean years followed as he did radio and some film work. Alans mother moved in with them, they had a son, Laddie, 22 October 1937 and Alans mother committed suicide on 29 November 1937. By mid-1938, Alan had started an affair with his agent Sue Carol. He was torn between the two women and finally separated in 1941. Marjorie did not contest the divorce as her husband had never publicly acknowledged that she existed. Ladd married Carol in 1942. At the age of 13, in 1950, Marjories son moved in with his father and second wife full time. She remarried, and died as Marjorie Jane Farnsworth on 1 May 1957 at age 41 in Orange, California.
