Long Vivian

American doctor of chiropractic, opera singer teacher and astrologer. She studied opera as a young girl, including five years in Europe. Long sang on radio and at the Manhattan Opera Co., also working as Director of the Childrens Church of the Air on TV and became renowned as a voice teacher with celebrity clients in Los Angeles. As a Dr. of Chiropractic, she was absorbed with physical and mental health. Becoming interested in Astrology, she studied at the First Temple of Astrology and the Church of Light, Los Angeles, CA. She formed groups with Doris Chase Doane and was a charter member of PAI (Professional Astrologers, Inc) She took an active role along with Doane and Lois M. Rodden in the PAI attempt to legalize astrology in CA. Long died in January 1989. Read less
