Madiol ArnoldJ

American career military member for 20 years, entering the Army on 21 June 1941 and retiring on 31 July 1961. Prior to the Service, he worked for Western Union in Illinois 1938-1941, and he continued to work for Western Union in his off-duty hours, as well as keeping his hand in with press teletype jobs at U.S. Communications and News magazines and papers. Arnold Madiols particular skill and passion was collecting and swapping everything having to do with printed telegraphy from anywhere, prior to 1965. He married on 18 December 1941, had two daughters, and was widowed on 2 May 1982. He died on 14 March 1996 at age 77. Read less
