Sigrid Jean

Belgian journalist, playwright and theatre critic. He was a journalist at La Libre Belgique from 1948 and professor at the National Institute of Performing Arts and Diffusion Techniques (INSAS). He participated in the revival of post-war Belgian theatre, with Claude Étienne, Paul Willems, Henry Bauchau and Charles Bertin. He wrote many plays, and also wrote the screenplay for a telefilm directed for Belgian television by Paul Roland, Le Vélo dans lécole. He died on 5 January 1998 in Brussels at age 77.
